Size: 36.75″ / [93 cm] wide x 34″ / [86 cm] depth
Gauge: 17 sts (1 patt rep) = 3.25″ / [9.5 cm] and 10 rows (5 reps of 2 rows ea) = 4.5″ / [11 cm] in Treble & K-st pattern, after wet blocking.
While gauge is important, a slight difference will not affect the success of this project although it may affect the amount of yardage used.

Yarn: Quince & Co.Sparrow (100% Organic Linen; 168 yards [155 meters]/50 grams): #205 Little Fern (7 skeins)
Hook: US size F/5 (3.75 mm)
Notions: Tapestry needle; blocking wires & pins
Special Stitches
K-st (treble cross stitch)
YO twice, insert hook in st, yo, pull up lp (4 lps on hook), yo, pull through 2 lps, sk 2 sts, yo, insert hook in next st, yo, pull up lp (5 lps on hook), (yo, pull through 2 lps) 4 times, ch 2, yo, insert hook through 2 sts joining lower legs, yo, pull up loop, (yo, pull thru 2 lps) twice.
3-dc CL (3 double crochet cluster)
(YO, insert hook in st, yo, pull up lp, yo & pull thru 2 lps) 3 times in the same st (4 lps on hook), yo & pull thru 3 lps, yo & pull thru 2 lps.
beg tr crochet (beginning treble crochet – optional)
SC in first st, (make another sc using the left legs of the sc just made) twice
end tr crochet (ending treble crochet – optional)
YO, sc in last st, make another sc using the left legs of the sc just made (2 lps on hook), yo, pull through two lps
Pattern Notes
Curtain is worked from the bottom up with the borders added afterwards.
A turning chain at the beginning of each single crochet row was not used in the sample project, but feel free to use one if desired.
The beg tr crochet and end tr crochet sts form the outside edges of the curtain. A normal ch-4 may be substituted for a beg tr crochet and a normal tr crochet substituted for an end tr crochet.
Treble & K-st pattern
Row 1 (WS): Sc in each st across row, turn.
Row 2: TR in first 5 sts, *work 3 K-sts over next 12 sts, tr in next 5 sts; rep from * to end of row, turn.
Rep Rows 1-2 for pattern.
Border pattern
Row 1 (RS): Ch 5, 3-dc CL in first st, *sk 4 sts, (3-dc CL, ch 3, 3-dc CL) in next st; rep to last 6 sts, sk 5 sts, (3-dc CL, ch 2, dc) in last st, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, 4 sc in first ch-2 sp, ch 2, *5 sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 2; rep from * to last ch-2 sp, 4 sc in last ch-2 sp, turn.
Row 3: Ch 3, *(3-dc CL, ch 3, 3-dc CL) in each ch-2 sp across, dc in last sc of previous row, turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first st, *5 sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 2; rep from * across, sc in top of ch-3, turn.
Rep Rows 1-4 for Border pattern.
Pattern
Ch 192.
Row 1 (WS): Sc in first ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (192 sts)
Row 2: Tr in each sc across, turn.
Rows 3-64: Rep Rows 1-2 of Treble & K-st pattern 31 times.
Row 65: Sc in each st across.
Top Edging
Work Rows 1-4 of Border pattern once, then Rows 1-2 once.
Fasten off.
Bottom Edging
With RS facing, join yarn in lower left-hand corner of starting ch.
Work Rows 1-3 of Border pattern.
Fasten off.
Finishing
Weave in yarn ends.
Wet block to measurements, allowing curtain to dry thoroughly.
Adjusting the size of the curtain
The width of the curtain can be adjusted by adding or subtracting multiples of 17 sts. Each set of 17 sts in the Treble & K-st pattern equals 3.25″ of width.
The depth of the curtain can be adjusted by working more or fewer rep of Rows 1-2 of the Treble & K-st pattern. Each set of Rows 1-2 equals 0.875″ of length.
Adjustments for either the width and/or length will affect the amount of yarn required. Work a good size swatch to use for determining how much yarn you will need.
